Yes, it is a simple bolt on type application. Remove the 10mm bolts holding on the cover and make sure the rubber backed washers come off with them, if they don't you will need a small and thin flathead screwdriver to gently pry them off. Remove the hose leading to the air intake tube and the PCV valve along with the hose. My VTEC valve cover has a ground line leading to the valve cover so look for one of those as well (if yours has it, then remove it). I also have a hose (I believe it is a brake line that travels over the valve cover and is screwed in nicely to the valve cover via a black plastic housing). Removing those two screws will allow you to move that hose and the plastic housing enough to remove the cover.

I'm not sure if your cover has all these components but even if it does, it is about a 5 minute job.

Don't forget to change your valve cover gasket and plug seals since you will be replacing the cover.

Mark

very very very easy.

remove wire cover... unplug sparkplug wires... remove all bolts on valve cover...

remove valve cover (if you never take if off before you might need the flathead screwdriver to peel it off carefully between the gasket)....

Note: change the valve cover gasket if you never change it before.

make sure you get those "honda bond" liquid gasket seal when you install the gasket.

then put your new valve cover in and follow the steps backward.

that's it.

won't take more than 30 minutes.

only problem i had when replacing my valve cover gaskets was the little grommets under the 10mm bolts are a pain in the ass to get off. It seems that they actually get sealed to the valve cover to prevent oil and $hit from leaking out. it was a pain. I recommended buying the five new grommets and replacing them because when i took mine out, i tore em apart.

One word of warning... When you put it back on just make it snug. If you really tightened it up hard, you will snap off the bolts.

ok i did it and yes it was easy. thanks for all your help guys. but i have a question, my F22B cover had a ground point to it with one wire going to it, my new cover doesn't. all i did was get black tape and tape it off. will this do any harm, or should i fine a place to ground it?

btw: the cover looks great i will try to get pics soon.

It's there for a reason, find someplace to ground it.
