putting oem sides back on?

I took off my oem sideskirts today to get them body colored, and there were like 8 clips and 6 screws holding each one in, quite difficult to remove them. I am wondering what the best way to put them back on. The clips were very strong, and i dont want to damage the new paint when putting them back on...how hard is it to put the sideskirt back on, as far as getting them into the clips? i dont want to mess up the new paint on them doing it. Thanks.

i would take the clips out of the body work and then slide them on to the skirt first and then line it up and push it in, rather than try to slide the skirt on with the clips in. When I did that the skirt either fell off or I broke the clips....well hope that helps
