how many *theoritical* hp gains if we have these cams on our H23?
I'll get it if the benefit outweighs the cost

I think we will be able to get some good gains out of it. My friend has a 90 Integra, and he got around 15hp and he can pull to 8k rpm when he added cams. I know that H series and B series react differently to mods, but we should expect similar numbers. I will ask Brian that when I fax him.

Well, that depends on how rough of an idle you're able to live with.

our low end might be ****ty, but as long as i dont' lose massive power down low, and gain a nice top end i am down. i heard non-vtec cams can make the same power as vtec cams, but the problem is that because vtec has more then one lob, our low end will suffer, and so will our idle... blehhh

They wouldn't DIE, but I definately would expect to see a little loss in low end power, but who needs low end power when you're racing you know?
