Pulling engine, balance eliminator kit or not?

Hi

So im gonna pull the engine now, its a fully build engine with mahle 11.5:1 pistons pro2 cams so on. But I cannot decide if I should buy the balance shaft eliminator kit or not..
Thing is, its not very expensive and pulling the engine anyways, should be easy to install..

But Im not sure about reliability of it? Its a daily summer driver.
Or should I just let the balance shafts stay as it is now.

I'd like to hear your inputs on this
Thanks,

Best regards Rasmus
Denmark

I haven't removed them but I don't use the belt, it will give you more response than any bolt on, I can guarantee that. I'd do it, just don't waste money on a kit, you can do it yourself with a tap, set screws, honda bond and some freeze plugs. There's a write up on honda-tech.

Kit is cheap and looks good, i would do it especially if you aftermarket mounts.

Your wont feel the difference

Thanks for your answers! Appreciate it
Thing I'm most worried about is; my pro2 cams already gives some vibrations (not much) with stock mounts, I ordered the Hasport 70a stiffrate mounts and energi suspension front mount. And balance shaft eliminator kit, so thinking about how much it will vibrate Or will I even feel any difference

I have ESP mounts, no balance shaft belt and stock internals and the vibration is very much there, the person saying you wont feel doesn't know what they're talking about. I can't even see what's in my rear view mirror sitting still at idle because it shakes so much...

Still though, it really does make the engine more responsive than any bolt on out there, if you are more function over form and comfort then you'll be glad you did it.

It smooths out the higher you rev but at idle you can watch your rear view mirror and steering wheel vibrate, I still say it's worth the extra power though.

^It has nothing to do with any of that, it really only makes the car more comfortable at idle, people with stock mounts say you barely notice a diff, it's just with aftermarket mounts you'll feel it a lot more.

It really makes the engine more responsive.
