Pulleys ?'s

How did you guys put your pulleys on? My friend said you had to pull the motor. How much power do they "add"? Can you feel it?

your friend is dumb, lol

just pull off the needed accessories. Just the alternator and power steering pump. Once they're out, remove the stock pullies. If you're brave enough to replace the stock crank pulley, just undo the nut and get it off.

because to date none of the aftermarket crank pullies available for our cars are harmonically balanced and will eventually tear up the bearings

harmonic dampener i mean...

from what i've read, they are balanced to compensate for the vibrations caused by the rotation of the pulley so it won't wobble and thus reduce the life of the bearings.

there are quite few posts by 71dsp on this subject.
