As promissed, Pics of my headlight project almost completed

Ok, i was really busy this weekend, I was not able to complete the corner lights, i tinted them but they did not come out well, i dunno if its the tint i used, or if i just suck at it...

Im debating on redoing the tint OR

1) find that spray tint and TRY that, i dont like how it looks on lights but i have to find some way of making the corner lights darker

2) Hack open the light and paint the inside black, and then use some kind of glue (GOOP) to put it back together.

There is no way of opening the corner light, they use some other kind of glue that does not melt under heat.

So if you guys have any ideas, Let me know,

PICS
the painted headlight

BEFORE

as you can see, the corner light really doesn't go with the headlight painted

here it is tinted

Think theres anyway to connect the corner with the main headlamp, or did yo do that? Yours look pretty close, mine seem to have spaces..

thanks guys, it is alot of work and yes that is a vtech phone hahahah. Jose- this is something that you could do yourself, when i have time i'll put up details on how I did it , i'll have it done by this week sometime.

but does anyone have any idea on what to do about the corner lights? Im not too happy with the tint, you can't see it in the pic but in order to cover the light, i had to cut little slits in the tint so that it would not bubble up and wrinkle.... Im not really happy with the way it looks....

Get some Euro Clear corners. I just went out and looked at mine...there's some places you could panit on there.

OR if you took apart and painted the same inside pieces I'm talking about on yours...it would probably look pretty nice behind the diffuser. you have to paint the pieces under the plastic and it will look good...rather than over top of it like you're doing now.

I know what you're talking about, Its like at the edge of the light and behind the surface... I was thinking about that too but its a pretty small area to paint.

I want to take the ligth apart but have had no luck with the heat gun, its a different kind of glue that just won't give under heat.... I think it would look the best if i could some how open the light up but i just can't figure out how without using a dremel too and cutting it open.... i dont even have a dremel.....

the lights are lookin good!!!

try using some transparent black spray paint made by Testors(model car paint) for the corner lights. I used some to smoke the bumper lights on my old car and it came out pretty good.

Not just that but there are places you could paint inside too. Look at some Euro clears and you'll know what I'm talking about...then do it to your stock ones...the more i think about it it would look a$$ in the Euro ones...
