Problems after JDM h22a swap

After my swap a couple weeks back, I had some minor problems. Like the bog when I started it up, after maybe a week, It stopped bogging...Maybe it had to be ran for a bit after sitting so long? iono.

The main problem I had was after I drove my car lets say, on the freeway for a bit and then exited and drove locally (all of this in the course of 30 mins) the car were lean almost always as soon as I exited off the freeway, sometimes rarely on the freeway. The problem seemed to go away yesterday and all of a sudden my car seems to run fine. Could this be an O2 Sensor problem? Why would my car lean out after driving for a bit?

I know for a fact its not the ECU, i have tried two different ECUs. JDM P13 and also USDM P13. Same problem

What gas do you have in there? With the higher compression you would obviously be wanting to run the highest octane you can to be safe

try swapping out the injectors {SUB[ex]. most jdm motors sit around for years until a buyer comes by. the injectors will rust and flow patterns will be affected. 3 out of 4 injectors in my jdm were dripping instead of spraying/atomizing. RC Engineering for 105 will blueprint/balance and clean the injectors. they use a supersonic type method to get all the accumulated poop from inside the injectors. they give you new seals and filters as well. i believe return shipping is included in the 105 with a turn around of about a week(w/ ship)

OR...wait it out like this guy did, it COULD clear out on its own but just think where all that poop is gonna end up....

should the filters be able to slide in and out of the top of the injector with little effort? i took my injectors out to inspect them and noticed that 2 of my injectors the filter portion would NOT come off the injector, it was pretty much stuck to the main portion of the injector. the other two slid right out of the top and looked decent.

Did you swap your old distributor for the jdm one? If so, did you correctly re-set your timing? If your timing is too far retarded your car will bog out. Might want to pick up a timing light and check it...
