Problem with VAFC

Hey,
Ive recently Installed a VAFC to my prelude,
It works fine in normal use ie set at 4700, however when I drop the crossover to say 3300 it throws a check engine light...
I dont want to run it at 3300, just wondering if this is a sign of a problem with the engine or something....

Thanks

That is not a problem with the VFAC. VTEC will not engage if a number of requirements are not met.... There's gotta be enough oil pressure and working temperature for VTEC to Work right. At 3300 there's not enough oil pressure and you might end up damaging your engine if you leave it at that.

I've got mine set to 4800 RPMs, 178WHP DYNO PROVEN!
