Problem with tach and speedo calibration - recommendations?
95 Si with JDM H22 swap
The speedo and tach have been off calibration (I believe since before the swap) for some time - tach is off by ~800 rpms, speedo is off by ~5 mph. I know that the VSS on the trans housing sends data to the sending unit which controls both the tach and speedo gauges....so I'm thinking I probably just need a new VSS - but at $100 I'd like to ask around to see if:
A) You've experienced this problem and ________ will fix it.
B) You haven't had this exact problem and think ________ will fix it.
Any tips are greatly appreciated in advance!
