problem with jdm cc

Okay, when I hook up the in-car temp sensor, the air mix motor doesn't adjust in increments. Anyone know why?

Wish I could help you. I remember another member had the same problem - they could only get it to work on one speed.

Because when the In car temp switch is working correctly... it's reading the temp, so say you're moving it from 20 to 21 and it doesn't move, that's because it may already be 21 in the car, or between 20 and 21... you get what I'm saying? The motor doesn't need to adjust every time you change the temp, maybe it'll blow the fan a little harder, with the same temp air, or what have you, it's compensating for what it's reading now.

In other words... it's working perfect.

Hmmm, that is wierd because the motor is only on either full or full cold with the sensor is plugged in. I'll check it out tomorrow and see if it ever does move in increments after some waiting time. Is there a fast way to get the air mix motor to adjust?

Oh and Mark, sorry I am using your sig. I didn't know that that was YOUR car lol. If you want, I can change it. I really like how your car looks and that's why I have it

Maybe change the temp reading on the CC by 10 degrees real quick?

yeah, hold it in your hand, cup it and breath on it like you're warming your hands... have the temp set at say... 21. Then, maybe hold an ice cube next to it... and blow the cold air onto the sensor.. these should both (w/o changing the temp of the unit) move the motor.
