Does it only do this when you come to a complete stop?

Sounds like the same problem for sure. i have replaced the iac, checked the vacuum lines, and reset the ecu and my car is still doing it.

I guess mine does that SLIGHTLY, but I also have no o2 sensor installed and havent reset the ECU in a while. A lot of people have this problem after going to a JDM H22.

did you put in your coolant exactly as the helms tells you? you might have a ton of air bubbles causing the surge. I would either bleed out the air, or completely drain the coolant and try again.

I had that same exact problem when I put my head back on my h23, I tried letting the air bubbles out and it still happened. After that I drained the coolant and did it over and it doesnt do that anymore. good luck

Would it do this if my radiator has leaks in it? ive removed the radiator cap and it didnt help so the only other thing i can think of is order a new radiator.

i just patched up my radiator with some glue stuff, and it happens anytime im in idle, so either cruising or when the clutch is pressed all the way in.

I had the same problem, and it turned out to be trapped air in the cooling system. Luckily, all I had to do was pop the rad. cap and let it sit a few minutes... and the problem was gone.

So would yalls guess be that its the radiator? everytime i pop the hood there is fluid everywhere. could it just be the cap leaking?

i found out why my car was doing it...it was a vacum line that wasn't hooked up..located on the back of the intake manifold(drive side)

i am pretty sure is the vacuum hose of your Pressure Regulator wasn't hooked up..

coz it happened to me once i tried to install my nitrous, ZEX kit, and I forgot to hook up that fuel pressure regulator and it did that to me.. very embarassing...
