Prelude Technicians...solve this

Alryte prelude pro's, here's the problem:
I have a 4th gen (manual) and lately, my car won't start. It'll make a click noise (not the fast clicking like the battery is dead) but it will click once everytime I turn the key. The battery is fine and all the lights and stereo work. But the car won't start every morning. The thing is, if I keep trying to start it, it'll start after about 10 minutes doing so. Then I'll drive to work.. and after a few hours it'll start with no problem.. But when I let it sit overnight, it won't start in the morning. What do you honda tech's think is the problem?

yeah try gettin under the hood in the morning when it does it and hitting the starter with something like a hammer (not TOO hard) and see if that fixes it. sounds like the solenoid to me too.

I tapped the starter solenoid a few times with a wrench and it started right up. Does this mean I gotta change out the starter?

If that really did help, then, yes.

As mentioned, the main relay can cause this as well as bad cables, ground connections, or a bad/shorted cell on the battery.

ya i was gonna say check all your grounds and power leads from the battery, i have a stratus (the f*ckin battery is in the wheel well). well long story short, i put a new battery terminal on it 2 put a system in.. had problems with corrosion on the wire going to the starter, really sounded like the starter was going bad though. great to hear you got it fixed though!
