Prelude Sports Stage R - Honda Prelude Forum

In the Classified section of Japanese Performance magazine, someone is advertising a Prelude Sports Stage R. The advert says:

PRELUDE SPORTS STAGE R, 1995, one of 200 prepared and updated in Japan, lowered, 17" wheels, VTEC controller, SVA tested, Interpol cleared, numerous mods, ring for full spec, Â£6,250.

The picture shows a white 4th gen, which looks stock.

Has anyone ever heard of one of these? Is it true or BS?

No, it's sounds legit to me. Although the Sports Stage R was actually in 94. The 95's has Sports Stage RII. But that's probably easily overlooked. Cool things that the Sports Stage RII had were the infrared keyless entry, green tint shade on the upper part of the windshield, LSD, and leather shift knob. But you can't really tell that it's a Sports Stage RII just by looking at it. It's just the name of an options package.

I have heard of something like this before. The special goodies weren't added by honda but by a different company kinda like RUF to Porshe.
