is there a jdm model SiR for the 4th gen? and if so, what motor does it have?

No, but something weird....
My registration for my car clearly states Prelude SiR.

thats a good question because they always classify JDM parts as
being for example "Sir black housing headlights"

I did a search on
Honda Japan for "Sir" and it was only made for the 5th generation prelude. It was produced November of 1996. I guess it was the twin for the Type S prelude with less hp and manual transmission.

On a carfax I just got for a 93 Si it showed up as a "Si/SR" I thought that was weird... was there an SR model in Japan?

$102 isn't cheap?
Looks like it's just dirty, a little polish will clean it up nicely. It has a different tip on there than is on mine though, strange. Maybe they had another tip welded on?
