Prelude noob, need help.

I can't tell what kind of engine I have. All I know is it's a 2.2. How do I find out?

It's stamped on the block. (nothing you couldn't find by searching the forum) Unless someone did an H22 swap, you have an F22.

questions like these (and many more) have been covered before. If you use the search function, you'll find there's a lot of information to be had w/o asking the question again.

I tried and I couldn't find any. My car is a 1992 SI 4WS Coupe 2D by the way. I don't know if that makes a difference on what engine it has but, thats all I really know.

If it says "VTEC" on the top of your engine head, you have a H22 which someone had swapped into your car. If you don't, then you probably have a F22 since your car is a '92.

That's odd. Why would a 4WS SI have an F22? Must have been swapped in. It's a powerless/downgrade...
If anything, a 4WS SI should have an H23.

the SI is a 2.3L, and just so you know, the 2.3 is the only one that came with 4WS.

It doesn't say VTEC on the top and I have no idea. That's just what the guy I bought it from said, I have no idea since this is my first Prelude.

Ok, so it turns out I have an F22...which sucks. Anyone know where I might possibly be able to find an H22? I'm going to try and see if I can't find someone who knows something that is local.
