So here's the thing I cleaned my IAVC today and my car idled perfect or at least to me it seemed good after that I turned off my car and I changed out my valve cover gasket I turned it back on and my idle was worse then it was before I cleaned out my IAVC it just keeps bouncing nonstop I am completely puzzled about what I should do
Please help !!!!!!!
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Oh allright man
Not too familiar with the abbreviations or tems yet
But thanks a lot man I didn't get a chance to check to check it out today ill post when I get some results
Okay, based on what you said, if the idle was fine before you changed your gasket and got worst afterwards, you probably have a vac leak. I wanna say there's a tear in the gasket or it's not sitting flush.

If you weren't messing around with the throttle body at all, I would see if its the pcv valve, (sits on the top right of the valve cover). Maybe the semi-useless ground on the valve cover?
Sup guys thanks a lot for the feedback Im gonna be sure to check those things out today that's what im gonna focus on when I get home
Ill let you know what happenned
AGAIN
THANKS
Sup guys have another question
Is the fast idle valve the same thing as
The
Idle air control valve ?
Or the
Fast idle valve ?
Let me know if it is one of those
PLEASE
Sup guys I meant to say
Is the idle speed control
The same thing as the
Fiv ?
Or the
Iacv ?
That's what my mechanic said it was
Let me know what is the difference
Sup guys I already changed out my fitv with a new one and the idle is much better not as wild as it was

Sup guys I have more concerns regarding my idle. I swapped out my FITV and the IACV both new pieces and the idle seems a little better but still here and there it still bouncing every once inna while my valve cover gasket seems fine so I really have no clue on what else it could be please give me some suggestions this problem is really annoying
