Prelude newb needs some help\advice anyone ?

So here's the thing I cleaned my IAVC today and my car idled perfect or at least to me it seemed good after that I turned off my car and I changed out my valve cover gasket I turned it back on and my idle was worse then it was before I cleaned out my IAVC it just keeps bouncing nonstop I am completely puzzled about what I should do
Please help !!!!!!!
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated

take off your TB and tighten the fast idle valve. check your gaskets and vacuum lines. My bouncing idle was the FIV.

Okay, based on what you said, if the idle was fine before you changed your gasket and got worst afterwards, you probably have a vac leak. I wanna say there's a tear in the gasket or it's not sitting flush.

If you weren't messing around with the throttle body at all, I would see if its the pcv valve, (sits on the top right of the valve cover). Maybe the semi-useless ground on the valve cover?

Is the fast idle valve the same thing as
The
Idle air control valve ?
Or the
Fast idle valve ?

Is the idle speed control
The same thing as the
Fiv ?
Or the
Iacv ?
That's what my mechanic said it was
Let me know what is the difference

Its actually FITV = Fast Idle ThermoValve

IACV controls idle, FITV is responsible for keeping your revs up while the engine warms up.

2 different things. The FITV is under the TB, IACV is on the intake manifold, a few inches to the right of the TB. It has 2 hoses and a connector

Update

Sup guys I already changed out my fitv with a new one and the idle is much better not as wild as it was
BUT STILL It jumps every once inna while ill keep you guys posted

Another Problem ?

Sup guys I have more concerns regarding my idle. I swapped out my FITV and the IACV both new pieces and the idle seems a little better but still here and there it still bouncing every once inna while my valve cover gasket seems fine so I really have no clue on what else it could be please give me some suggestions this problem is really annoying
