prelude newb here tooooooooooooooo help anyone

i own a 95 prelude si with almost 175xxx

my car was running good..one day my cousings came to aftermarket side view mirrors, and projector headlights.....its weird when they finished one of the mirrors would move the opposite way..so if u pressed down it would go up?..also the side view mirrors i bought had signal lights that day they would turn on sometimes and sometimes not.....also when my cousins were done my headlights only had one "level" of brightness....i just had the normal bright it would go into the bright bright.....so its weird since they were working with lights that day the battery died........so i thought i would charge it other day.........so some 2 weeks passed i tried charging it nothing...took the battery got a brand new one...put it on all lights turn on everything....the car cranks a lot but it just wont start at all....everything turns on.....

my questions??

can it really b the alternator? when the alternator dies doesnt it just make a click i thought it wouldnt crank at all???

could it be a wiring problem causing it not to start or like a blown fuse?? having in mind the lights only have one level and 1 mirror moves the opposite way??

what exactly could it be??

anyone please?? thanks?

If it is cranking, then you are not getting fuel or ignition, or both. So check to see if you are getting spark and also listen for the fuel pump to turn on when the key is at the II (second accessory) mark.

From all you describe in regards to the mirrors, the wiring wasn't done correctly. Seems like there are reversed wires and/or shorts in there. So you will probably want to pull that apart and inspect it. Check all your in-cabin fuses to make sure none are burnt out as well.

ps. It's okay tooooooooooo use periods instead of ... at the end of a sentence.

The alternator has nothing to do with starting the car....if the starter is bad sometimes it will make a click sound but the motor will not turn...it could be a wiring problem....who knows what your cousins did...projector headlights are junk...that's why you have bright bright problems...

1. checked all fuses (3 were blown)
2. well switch the fuel pump (but the fuel pump is not getting any power)
3. hes gonna check all the wiring ( does this have to do anything with not starting ( by wires i mean the following a gauge light was added also so side view mirrors with blinkers and projectors headlights...maybe it was a wrong wiring..
4. my friend is saying like a anti theft mechanism went off on the car thats y its not starting at all... i mean in cranks it just wont start....new battery alternator is good...just wont start any ideas????

hes pretty sure its like a antitheft system that is not letting the car start......the fuel pump is not getting any power???

I'm pretty sure your friend has no idea what he is doing if he wired your mirrors backwards. Who knows what else he may have screwed up. Did the fuses he replaced blow again?

Why replace the fuel pump? The new one won't be getting any power to it either. Its not the problem here, and neither was the battery, and neither is the alternator. Your buddy probably has some wires crosses somewhere, and it is possible he tripped the immobilizer, but its unlikely.

i THINK YOU SHOULD REPLACE YOUR KEYBOARD.

Then go check the main relay, see if any power is coming out of it. It sends power to the fuel pump, so when it goes out, the fuel pump doesn't pump and your car won't start.

I hate Broadripple. It's just a year-round frat party, full of dudes who all dress the same, act the same, and throw the same tired game at the constantly revolving door of fresh meat prissy *****es.

Or maybe I'm just getting old...
