Prelude keeps blowing fuses. Im stumped

Ok so i just got a 93 prelude si. I have a 1998 civic also so im not a newby to honda's but i just can't seem to find out why the prelude keeps blowing the same fuse. I have checked for shorts and i can't find anything . Also the light to the mph and rpm is not working. When i first got the lude it was working fine. So im guessing it has to do with the fuses blowing. The owner of the lude had told me it happened before when the taillight went out, he said he fixed it and then everything worked fine. Well the driverside headlight is cutting out now. So im thinking it might have something to do with the short ????? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Blown fuses almost always indicate a short. It might be helpful if you tell us which fuse(s).

i had a similar problem. my dash dimmer and brake lights didn't work. ended up being when i swapped my main harness i plugged the wrong connector into the brake pedal switch. there are a few connectors for the pedals that are the same shape, but have different color wires. i would check all of them.

Specify exactly which fuse it is that is tripping.

Get yourself an ETM (or borrow a friend's), and look up the schematic for all the circuits that fuse protects.

From their it's a simple process of elimination. Disable circuits in succession until the problem goes away.
