Okay I just want to clarify something, and get some opinions on what you think this damn curse is about, I think I'm sitting right smack in the middle of it, what do you think.
First, My car falls out of gear at wide open throttle and spins my H23/vtec to 10,000 and blows up right after it's running great.
Second I finally save enough money for a H22 swap get that put in, now can't seem to get it tuned correctly have cel's everyday.
Third find out my cousin while helping me take out my other motor leans on both my fenders not seeming to realize that it is very thin sheet metal and now I have elbow marks all the way and I mean all the way down both of my fenders.
Fourth, after I get the inside jambs of my car painted and ready to do the outside my 2000.00 dollar copper, gold pearl paint spills all over the floor of my garage, so now I don't have any more paint for my car, but have one hell of a nice looking garage floor.
Fifth, Just sent 400 dollars to Japan for my Jdm headlamps and waited two weeks to get them finally do and opened the box and both lights have damage.
Keep in mind all of this has happened in about six months time.
Well that about sums it up, am I cursed or what I have only had the damn car for a year and a half.
My Prelude curse was buying my 95 SE from Miami without inspecting it in person. Motor was crappy and interior was sorta on the iffy side... Motor eventually crapped out, but then I got my H22a swap
And about the headlights, don't feel too bad. I went through 3 pairs until I finally found my pair of headlights in excellent condition. I then re-sold the other headlights with a more honest descripton... and I lost money on those so it made my good pair sota expensive.
prelude curse is total bs, my car has had some probs, sure, but its 10 yrs old and i drive it hard, what should i expect? so everytime a lude breaks, its the "curse" HA! i laugh

ok h23vtec is bound to break anyway, the second could just be your fault not the cars(professionally installed?),3rd is your dumb cousins fault not the car,4th is just funny lol, but is it the cars fault or yours?,5th you sent 400 bucks and didnt get pics of the exact lights you ordered???? .........

Good luck with everything though
so you bought a car that you didnt even look at first, and you just hoped everything would be great? the curse has been squashed!! i think that we need some matrix style philosophy on this: heres the deal, WE are the curse for our preludes! we come along and dent them and break them and stuff, so we are the curse. congrats, youre a curse
