Prelude Competitors
Not really a tech question but just something I have been pondering for some time now... I own a 93 Prelude which is the first import car I've ever owned personally. Usually I have only ever owned classic cars, hot rods, etc. For quite a while now I have been thinking about selling my Prelude but cannot decide on another vehicle to buy. If I do not buy an SUV or 4x4 truck I will buy either something like a 67-69 Cougar, 69 Torino, etc or a 300zx TT. It's all up in the air right now. I love my prelude, it's a great car and has never let me down but I get bored with the power. It's my daily driver, I bought it to save gas when prices were high but the milage I get out of it isn't amazing for a 4 cylinder and I figured if I am going to get 19-23MPG or around there I might as well sacrifice a little more fuel milage and get a quicker car or even a rear wheel drive one at that. My question here is for around the same price I can get a 4th or 5th gen Prelude which is another car I can get with more power, still reliable, etc? In it's time what were the competitors of the Honda Prelude? I am guessing things like Nissan 240sx, Integra, etc. I don't care for a Acura RSX or similar car, IMO they remind me of a girls car. Sure they make great power for a 4 cylinder and are sought after import cars but its' just not me.
Thanks for any oppinions and suggestions!
