somethign is wrong with my car audio....1 speaker works so i decided to change everythin... i figured my back 6.5 were blown so while tryign to replace them i had 2 problems... #1 the stocke bracket for the speaker is warped from the factory so aftermarket speakers dont fit in air tight!!! there is a gap in between!! #2 i plugged it all in and still i had no sound from the back speakers!!! what is goin on something is wrong with the wiring!!! does anyone know?? ok now with the front i put infiniti tweeters in the left one is fine the right one when i try turing up the volume it gets very staticy at first i thought it was damaged so i swapped the speakers still wahtever tweeter is on the right side (passager) is staticy ... i believe these problems are wire problems!! what do i do?? someone help!!! asap!! peace!!

I know my Prelude has wiring problems. But I can't speak for you. You should move to the Audio forum bud.

could it be a dirty volume knob? They make channels go out everyknow and then. With the radio off, turn it all the way up and back down to 0 a bunch of times to clean it.

Had the same problem(except the only working speaker would cut out at random) it wasnt the wireing it was the internal amp on the stock HU, replaced the HU never had a problem again.
