Powersteering Pump making lotta noise what could it be?

Hey guys I got my JDM H22 in and was runnin it yesterday an Powersteering pump is making alot of noise. Could this be because maybe the new belts are too tight or what?

BTW its my H23 PS pump and it has plenty of fluid

Thanks

my PS pump was making a lot of noise once. then it got louder, and then it got hard to turn the wheel. and then i replaced the pump, problem solved.

if it sounds like bearings crunching then you need to replace the pump, if it sounds like squealing then it's probably the belt not tightened properly.

Does your fluid bubble when you turn the wheel? My sis's 240 was making extremely loud noises, and rough steering. I flushed the PS system and runs as good as new. Try flushing it out before you decide to get a new pump.
