Powerslot rotors

Does anybody have powerslot rotors on their lude? If so, do you really notice an improvement over stock rotors? My rotors are warped and i don't know if i should just get them all resurfaced, or if it's worth spending the money on powerslot rotors. Also if you know any good sites for buying them, feel free to share.

I have power slots only on the rear. If your rotors are warped, don't resurface it. Just get new rotors. When I resurface my stock rotors it warped even more. I do not notice any difference from these rotor (you're not supposed to unless it's a bigger diameter) and plus it's on the rear so there's absolutely no difference.

And they advertise some type of coating (I forget what kind) help prevent rusting. This is total BS. The first time in the rain, the edges (part where pads DON'T touch) got rusted. and so did the part where the brake meets the hub.

I got them from manhonda.com for $90, I forget if that includes shipping. As for the fronts, power slots were too expensive, I would get Brembo blanks. IMO, get what ever rotors are cheaper. Our cars eat through these rotors like nothing...

i have powerslots on all 4 corners. to be honest i dont feel a difference. Probaly because i dont drive my car hard enough. www.preludeparts.com is having a sale on powerslots right now. my friend jus bought some. i believe 80 each for the front, and 70 each for the rear. but then they charge you 10 dollars each rotor for shipping which blows.

I have powerslotts on the front. I can't really compare them to stock brakes because they were warped when I bought the car. If the powerslotts are supposed to anything its run cooler so you would have less brake fade after doing a lot of heavy breaking.

That was primarily what i am looking for. I want less brake fade, not necessarily a shortened braking distance. I just don't like the feeling i get when i'm out driving fast and hard and i go to hit my brakes and it feels like i'm trying to stop a semi. Does anybody notice reduced brake fade?

Rotors are not very important. If you want to reduce fade, start off with better fluid and pads, if that's not enough for your street application, you have a problem. Ease off on your brakes. I've had good pads and good fluid with my stock rotors and they NEVER faded on me once (well it did when the rotors were warped). But I seriously beat the sh*t out of my brakes everyday (ie 100-40mph) and they held up, even auto-x on them without any fading.

If your rotors are not warped, spend the money on pads and fluid. Rotors would be mainly for looks. And you don't need power slots, it's a waste of money (it's mainly for looks). Get Brembos if you need rotors. They're about $60 each for the front.

$70 each for the rear is not cheap. I got mine from www.manhonda.com for $90 for the PAIR, about $10 shipping.

I said the REARs were $90 at manhonda.com. I have no idea how much they are for the FRONT.

H22aPoweredBatMobile: when you said preludeparts.com was $70 EACH do you mean each SIDE or for the PAIR?? Because at manhonda.com, they listed $90 or so EACH as well, so I emailed them and they said their "EACH" means a pair . Anyway, I got mine from them for the PAIR for about $100 shipped.
