Power Locks Messed up?

Ok, with both driver and pass side doors locked, when I press the unlock button.... the driver door fully unlocks... but the pass side door only unlocks halfway (still locked, but the lock thingie moved). I press the unlock twice both doors are unlocked all the way. Same thing goes for locking doors. Also, when I put the key in the driver door to unlock it, it doesent unlock both doors... however when I put the key in the pass door to unlock it, both driver and pass doors are unlocked (is that normal?). I'm getting an alarm in the next week or so... I would think the problem with the pass side door lock would become a pain with keyless entry, so I would like to get it fixed. Any ideas to what it is and how much it would cost to have fixed?

thanks!

On my car, one of the screw that secures the actuator backed out and loosened up. As a result, the actuator had nothing to "push against" to move the locking rod. The door would stay locked or unlocked, but the little tab would "jump" like it was trying to move. Sounds like a similar problem. I have aftermarket power locks though, so mine dont do that thing with the key. Hope this helps some.
