Power locks dont work

The locks in my car do not work. Here are some things I found while tracking the problem myself.
The car has a newer door on the drivers side
The power lock fuse is still good
All connections are made, and tight.
You can lock it manually from the inside or pass. side

I checked all the basics, and cant figure this out.

describe all of the connections individually, so we know what you can see.

Was it working before and then it just quit all of a sudden?

The power door lock module which is mounted in the door might be shot.
