I got my hoodpins in today and I dunno where to mount them to underneath the hood... Can someone post all the pics you got of your hoodpins... I'd like to see the placement of the hoodpins.. ALSO if you got pics of the hoodpins with the hood up that'd be great too...
is the hood pins going to help the passenger side of the hood by pulling it down?

nah its not my car. i wish tho. on the passenger side youll see a big holeon that bar going across right above you head light. its to the right of the ground cable. behind that hole youll see a smaller hole. i think you drill that smaller hole bigger so it fits. then on the other side you measure from the fender as the same distance on the passenger side and drill a hole there. im not to sure b/c i dont have pins but i think thats what my friend did to his lude. watch how you mount that plate thing on the hood when you screw it on. my friend put cracks there b/c he didnt drill big enough pilot holes or something.

yeah i know exactly what hole you're talking about on the headlight rail thing. except it looks to me like those hoodpins are further up... kind of where the intake goes down.. thats whats got me so confused.
i think you just use that smaller hole above that bigger hole. that was your 1000 post

Man I'm skurred to do these hoodpins on my own.. Dont think i'm gonna......
Be carefull when you do the hood pins I have done a few hoods now and found that an air compresser with a grinder is the safest and easiest way to do it. DON'T use a regular drill I have seen two that grabbed the fiber and pulled the hood together and cracked it in half.
thats a Carisma M-Speed Front Bumper. i think its molded on.
