i think that you can't really do it without a lot of custom work, like cutting the glass or the trunk lid, but reasonably possible? i was looking at some pictures today and i thought it would be cool, plus the fact that i couldn't see out the back while it was raining on my way home.
UK, do you have any close up pics of where it attaches to the car?

You'd really need to import the whole rear windshield to do it right. Otherwise.. you'll need to find someone to drill a clean hole back there. It's a pain in the butt. I've been trying to find an easy way.. but there really isn't.
wow, a jdm rear wiper....i'm thinking that would be one tough task. is it even possible to get a clean cut through a window without compromising the strength (ie. it would be easier to crack??) where do you put the little motor for that....just under the rear speaker deck?? it would be great if they made an aftermarket rear wiper kit, especially in winter when you've got a foot of snow on it.
Well, you'd need the JDM rear glass, wiper arm and blade, wiper motor, interior switch, and the wiring to go out from the switch. I have a feeling the wiring is already in there.
UK -- I need a big favor from you. Can you get pics of all the buttons and switches you have in the car? I know it sounds like a lot, but there should only be about 2 or 3 pics worth. I need the ones with the antenna "half mast" button (center console), and the one where the sunroof control is (driver side dash). I think those are the only two pictures I'd need... yeah, drivers side dash, and center console. Thanks a ton.
Thatchy, me old mate. I'll get pics asap but bear in mind mine is 93 so the center console is different. But for now, on the switch panel next to the steering wheel I have three buttons...one for the roof, one for the cruise control (on/off) and the other is for the traction control (on/off). On the center console there are two buttons...a half-mast button for the antenna and the front foglight switch (on/off). The power mirror switch is on the drivers door and being a 93 model there is no armrest on the center console.
Hit me back if you still want pics.
See ya...
I nearly forgot, deceptakon, the wiper is fixed through the window so it would have to be drilled. But drilling glass is a PIA as you can't use a regular drill bit as it will crack right away...it will have to be diamond cut = $$$$$$$'s
Personally, I prefer the look without the wiper, cleaner rear end, if you know what I mean, but it is handy when it pisses down with rain.
UK -- Well Mate, how've you been? I knew yours would be different... being a 93 and all. Don't worry too much about the pics. I just wanted to know what else was there.
You wouldn't happen to have interior shots of a 94-96 JDM lude now would you? I've been looking for some, but haven't had the greatest of luck. I've been thinking of doing a little rearranging in there.
I agree about the rear wiper-less US preludes looking a little cleaner, but man.. it really would help to have one of those wipers sometimes!
I'm still interested in getting on of those functional TCS buttons , I'll have to keep looking around for some more info. You wouldn't happen to have a bunch of information about it now would you?
