possible belt squeaking...help

I had my timing belts changed and what happens now is when I start the car, I get a loud squeaking sound. It's only for a little bit and only happens when its cold or damp outside. Every once in a while it will still squeak after start-up and sometimes will squeak if I'm running the a/c even after engine warm up. But normally once engine is warm, no noise at all. I'm assuming this is a loose belt. Could it be anything else? If it is a loose belt, how do I fix this? Thanks.

Sounds like they didn't get one of the belts on tight enough. It's not the timing belt, it has teeth and won't slip like that. The other belts have to be removed when changing the timing belt. If it squeaks with the a/c, that's probably the one that's loose.

Thanks bk94si, I'm going to check my manuals and try and tighten that baby up this weekend. Suppose to be unusually cold here in Fl. Like 29 degrees tonight. And only 40 during the day Saturday.

wow, not as cold down here in Miami. heh

Its only supposed to dip to like 40 or so. 230 miles distance between two places can really make a difference
