Popping the mirrors out of the side view mirrors

How do you take the mirrors off?

^^ you mean the mirrors them self or the whole assembly.

Direction for mirror.
Pull from the bottom of the mirror upwards like a swinging motion. the mirrors will pop off.
Pull the top hindge out.

the housing from the car.

pull off the triangle trim, next remove door panal, because some of the screws will covered by the panal.
Next unplug the harness

^^ what he said. You trying to use your USDm mirror pieces on your JDM folding housings? I still need to swap the pieces, but if you angle/adjust the mirrors as far up as possible it'll give you some space to slide your fingers under and in so you can pop the bottom out.

got em out

they come of pretty easy. I just angled them up and to the sides and got to the tabs with a flathead screwdriver

hehe, so what's up, don't like the head-dizzying driver's side mirror and the just-out-of-adjustment pass. mirror? The only advantage I've found to the pass. side one is when I drive through Ohio, I can adjust it so far out I can see the top of the onramps and check for cops hanging out lol.
