I am getting mine this week, and by what everyone says, they are good. They reduce wheel hop, which is a plus. But they said that it makes a vibration that is a little more noticeable with than without them. Hell, I can deal with that!!!!!!!

It wouldn't be a good idea to get solid mounts, you will break either axles or parts in your transmission. If you think about it, the shock from the acceleration and shifting is mainly absorbed by the motor mounts through the "torqueing movement" of the engine. If you stop it from being able to do that, the shock will be absorbed by the transmission and the axles which will cause premature failure.

Hey,
That is a good point I never really thought about it. I will prolly stick with what I have. But the rear is just such a pain to deal with when droppin the motor in. I almost sliced one side in half Thanks for the input!
