Depends..if every Lude in your area has em and just about every other kinda car, lose 'em and go back stock...

For me, NO ONE in my area has the carbon fiber ones on a 4th Gen, even when I went to a big show end of the year so I'm different and I like that...either they have stock or the chrome Altezzas...and for me they add to the dark look I'm going for my ride...lots of Gunmetal or Carbon Fiber so....

CARBON FIBER ALTEZZAS!!! Like TheGreatOne, nobody around my area has the carbon fiber-look tails, so they stand out, get a LOT of GOOD comments, and ARE different. IMO, the silver ones are whack (got rid of mine before switching to the c/f altezzas), and the stock ones, even w/ the yellow signals cleared still doesn't look good on dark cars. They look good on white or red 4G Ludes, but not on my green one. I'm trying to minimize the red on my car, b/c I don't want to look like Freddy Krueger's sweater. Don't let the altezza-haters on this board sway your opinion, make a decision based on the end result you're going for.

I have the altezzas on my white honda prelude. I think it looks good! Not too many people around where I live have ludes so I guess it works good for me.

If I had a red car, I'd do the clearing method on the stocks, but red & green look *** together. Does anybody out there think that stock tails cleared out would STILL look better on a GREEN car.

i have stock lights with the cleared out signals and it looks straight on my car cuz it's white, plus nobody in my area has done this, but a lot of people have been getting preludes which pissed me off cuz i wanted to be a little unique.

I personally think the stock lights now look better on my lude whether the orange is out or not , but I thought it was something different when it first came out, but yes if no one around has them thatd be great, instead of every lude i see driving around with them and cavaliers...etc

Stocks with cleared up signals look good on any color actually. I dunnos wsup with the color prejudice....but that's messed up. Haha.

But I agree..Red is much more appealing.
