Is it pointless...

to have a free flow muffler, dc headers and high flow cat but stock mid section, I dident know I was going to get the headers and high flow cat or I would have put on a cat back system when I had the money.... is the stock mid section going to hold me back from alot of horsepower that I could have with new cat back

thanks for you time

will

Not pointless, but that is definitely your bottleneck now. It is probably being pushed to max flow rate right now.

I shop should be able to do custom piping for a good price. Make sure you get the piping done with mandrel(sp?) bends. The piping and to just use the muffler you have should be easily under 300.
