Please Read!

I saw this guy today that was having trouble with his 92 si, I have never heard of this kind of thing happening so I would like some explaination........

he said that he was driving then all of a sudden the car made a funny noise, he took it in to several shops and said that it was the piston rod is out of place or something..... how can this just do this??

oh and I am getting a valve adj saturday.......can anyone tell me the exact measurements according to the Helms manual....thanks........

Well im pretty sure he ment a ROD BEARING. and that is NOOO good. When the bearing goes, you need to pretty mush remove your whole engine and rip the whole thing apart the crank has to be redone and the bearings. And possibly the RODS, they get Streched and then everything is skrewed. Its a big problem if it happens. Happened to me.

Happened to me too. JDM H22 swap I wish I new what I was doing when my first engine died ( I replaced mine with a USDM H23)
