If I was to get one, I'd mount in place of the ashtray but I'd take the console out and have it properly fitted and trimmed so it doesn't just sit in front of it. Basically, make it look factory fitted

I take it you want to do it first.

Yeah, I just got mine in the mail today. Too bad it's not a 1/4" shorter then I could try to stuff it in the pocket below the radio. I hope this isn't what you mean by the ashtray.

I swear we must have the smallest dash in existance and the glove box is useles. Heck I can't even fit a map in there. I'm gonna tear apart my center console this weekend so I can install my new shifter (thanks 4bidden ) so I'll see if I can find a place.

I got mine in the pocket beneath my radio. I will go get some pics. I'm at work so I gotta somehow snaek outside. I am still in the process of finding something to use for the sides right next to the vafc. NEways you have to do some trimming on the plasitc thing that hold the head unit. I moved it up a lil and took out a little off the bottem of it a vwwhaala it fits in there well I believe. Let me go get some pics

I like that install and contemplated heavily on doing it that way. The only thing about it that I really didn't want to do to is cut parts that if I wanted to go back to stock it would be hard to replace. So that kinda did the glove box thing in. My stereo pocket is like 20 bucks and you can find em anywhere
