please help my engine rumbling but rpms arent moving

please help my 93 vtec engine 200k mile rumbling ..when im parked for like 5 mins... and rpms arent moving wildly...noticbly louder then engine u kno? if i drive its fine... only when i dont move for a while.... maybe since my hood prop is broken and lays on my radiator it gets so hot it shakes? i dunno please help

its probably your fan turning on to cool the car while at idle

it seems to scary to be the fan... and my temp doesnt increase dramaticly ... nor does my rpm dance...

your temp wont drop at all really, its more just to cool the radiator itself. You might wanna look at the fan blades, one might be bent, or hitting something..
I suggest starting your car one day, use a wood dowel or broomstick to prop up your hood, and just watch and see if you can narrow down your noise.
I also suggest going online and buying a helms manual, and when you get it, open up your hood, and get personal with your engine.. get to know it better and familiarize yourself with what's what, and stuff, cause otherwise you'll continue to ask questions, and not really be able to grasp what people are telling you (as shown in another thread you made).

I agree. My 93 Si does the same thing. When my radiator fans come on, I get a rumble and rpm drop slightly for a couple seconds, and then goes back up to normal idle rpm.
