i got dicked into buying a 1995 prelude special edittion 5 spd 170,000 miles

leaked oil, needed new belts, no cat backs, bad cv joint for $1000

my buddy crashed his 1998 v tec automatic 130,000 miles so i got that for $1000

so i thought id fix most of my problems and add vtec by doing a engine swap

Now i think the 1998 is a SH so can i even USE THAT ENGINE?!?!!?

i finally got the engine out and i also dont know if i need to take the chasis wiring harness out?!?!?!?!

im so confused and my dad just told me our house is getting forclosed so i need this done in 30 days cuz im gunna b homeless...please help im seriously about to kill myself over the stress of all this oh and please all the people on here who r gunna hate on me and talk **** please go right ahead just please someone answer thous 2 ?'s for me.

can i even use the engine? should i try an sell it out and get some money back? DO I NEED THAT CHASIS HARNESS?!?! cuz if i dont need the harness i got a tow truck ready to take the car away an give me $250 please help im ligi about to kill myself hahahah

Well, run the VIN of the SH and see exactly what you have. If it is an auto, (as you stated), it is NOT an SH model 4 sure. SH models were only ever made in a 5spd.

Next, no matter what you have, I would part out what you can as you will make more and people are always looking for parts.

Sorry I can't help you on what exactly you need but I hope I did help you out by saying I KNOW 4 SURE, you did not buy an SH model as you stated it is an auto.

ya it is auto but i sware i saw ATTS when i was trying to take out the chasis harness.
thanks alot man does anyone know if i need the chasis harness? cuz everyone said to use the obd1 harness cuz IF the engine does work ill prolly use the p13 im thinking i use the chasis harness in the 95 h23 but i just wanna make sure cuz the cars gotta b outa my garage like yesterday.
