why do you need one, just can't figure out which one it is? It's an easy line to spot, just follow from the clutch master cylinder reservoir along the firewall and you'll see the hardline. It has bends and is shaped in such a manner that you can't put it in without removing the engine.

"It has bends and is shaped in such a manner that you can't put it in without removing the engine."

that just killed me Adam. i was just trying to figure out how it's suppose to go in 'cuz mine has a leak and when we did the manual swap, the metal piping wasn't bent right so it's all over my engine bay. well, i just ordered a new one and wanted to put the piping to where it's suppose to go so i needed some pictures of how it goes. I thought it could go in without lifting the motor. are you 100% sure that you can't do it without lifting the motor? i was expecting to move some stuff out to put the line in but never thought i would have to life the motor... some pix please and any comments/suggestions are welcome. thanks

hehe, ok, lemme retract that statement and you take a deep breath. I'm operating off of what my dad said, and while he's worked in Honda service for 14 odd years, he can generalize technical info from time to time. The topic did come up recently while I was talking to him about replacing my clutch master cylinder. I remember him saying "when you loosen the fitting that holds the hard line to your reservoir/master cylinder, be very careful not to strip the thread on the line or the nut fitting, that hard line goes in before the engine goes on, and can't go in after" I'll get some pics for you tomorrow, but I gotta say, it's a mighty bendy hard line. Chin up bud

that's that exactly happened... when i was installing the master cylinder, the fitting wouldn't fit on to the master cylinder so i kinda bent the piping and i believe that's what's causing my clutch some problems.

my clutch gets soft and stiff from time to time and i tried adjusting the freeplay nut on the pedal and replaced my slave cylinder. i can't think of anything else so i just called honda dealer this morning and ordered them ...
