Pictures of my JDM h22 swap

Here are the pics from my swap: http://www.jdm-whore.com/Motorswap/

If anyone needs any help swapping their h22 or wants a good source for a JDM h22a, contact me. Swap is very easy, started it on a Saturday morning and I was driving the car that night. Can't wait to get it tuned and see what she pulls at the track/on the dyno.

I figured the fenders were just black because they're JDM and that's the color of the car he got them from. But hey, if an H22a lands on me from the heavens, I'll take you up on that transplant-assistance offer... you JDM whore.

An old man backed into me with his truck and he dented my drivers side fender, scratched my cf hoof and took some paint off the front bumper. His insurance company gave me $1800 and buying two jdm fenders off ebay was cheaper than picking up one o.e. replacement fender. I didn't bother having them painted because I am getting the entire car repainted spa yellow pearl in a little bit.

Our local track has a street racing event at the track, called "Club 1320" It's heads up racing. It's a pro tree, street legal cars only ... no slips but your times are displayed on the board. I only got in one run due to the fact that I came stright from work and it was pretty late. But I was able to pull a 14.42@? with just a cold air intake and an apexi exhaust. The h23a1 pulled a 14.5@98 with cai, exhaust, cams, adj. cam gears, s-afc, msd ignition, etc. A group of us from TampaRacing.com rented out the track in a few weeks so I'll get getting some slips and hopefully pulling atleast a 14 flat if not a 13.9 Can't wait to for my GReddy header to get here I'll upload the pictures and video from our track day for all to see...

All of the interior was removed when the pictures were taken cause all of the sound tar was removed and then everything was sanded down and primered. All of the interior is back in the car minus the drivers seat as the seat bracket is still on back order (dam corbeau..)

Nah, bought everything seprate and the motor was purchased through my friend Mark who owns JDMClub.com. He just recently switched distributors and the new motors are soooooooooo nice! The company is Strong for Honda and is located in New Zealand. If anyone is interested in a motor, pm me

Why not paint the car before putting the motor in Then, you can make it all yellow

14.42 with full interior and had the a/c and p/s hooked up .. interior is staying in, but the a/c and p/s are gone. I'll be at the track on the 27th as we have rented it out. Hit up tampracing.com for more info.
