pics of spoon knob w/ new JDM ITR shiftboot...*pics*
well driving in my boys Cadillac for about 1 1/2 hours to New Jersey to meet Illusion for a trade for my Alternator and his JDM ITR shiftboot... this is the final product....
i had never installed it before. but as i was told, some modification would have to be done but nothing major. im interested as to what PreludeNYC had to do.
it looks great though man. the alternator install has been delayed because i never seem to have the right length socket. hopefully today i can have it done. thanks!
The install is simple. You just have to take out the metal base plate that comes w/ the boot, and take out the staples that hold the stock boot into place, between the two black, plastic rings. Squeeze the ITR boot between the two black rings, and pull it up into the shift console assembly, screw it back into place, and you're lookin' good. It's a great addition.

omg man what a *****. it seems the pulley on the alternator you gave me didnt have the correct number of grooves for my belts and pullies. maybe the 93 -> 94 are different. i went to my friends job with air tools and they switched em for me. put everything back in, tightened the belts to where we thought they should go, and then popped the clutch while pushing the car. ran around good, charged the battery. all seems well!

around me there is a crew of mustangs. that particular one runs a 14.5 at best. lately he's been in the high 14's. i never get to run any of them because im only in the lowly prelude. they will soon see. =)
