Pics of my new RS*R exhaust and old Brullen(4sale)...

Hey, finally got the exhaust today and installed that sh!t. Man, this exhaust is f-ing sweet as hell. The sound level is exactly what i wanted all this time. It's quiet when idle and driving normally but gives the much appreciated roar when you hit vtec. Funny thing is though is that you hear your intake over the exhaust. It's great. I'm very happy with it and i thank all of you that gave me advice in this forum about this particular exhaust. Now that i have the RS*R in and the Brullen out, i'm going to be selling the Brullen for pretty cheap. One reason is because i had to take it to a muffler shop to get a new flange installed because the one it came with was welded on improperly. You can see it in the pic if you look at the part of the exhaust that'll connect to the catylitic converter(it's the piping on the left). You see that it's a different color piece, but it's on there real good and wouldn't leak for the life of it. The Brullen is a full stainless cat-back system(yes, i know it's painted black). If you go to www.brullenexhaust.com you'll see that they say all their exhausts are stainless even if it's painted. You just have to pay extra if you want it polished. I obviously didn't. People from the Toronto prelude club people can tell you that Brullen is a very reputable exhaust company. That's who i went through. If anyone is interested in getting a good cat-back exhaust for cheap send me an email. I will clean it up the best i can for you before i send it out. I have a couple of pics up with the brullen on the car so you can get an idea of what it looks like. Speaking of looks, I love the polished can of the RSR but you can't beat the dual tips of the Brullen. I'm going to really miss them. Now i'm just like every other kid in the honda scene. The way it sounds though makes up for it! As for the brullen, the sound is great. It's not raspy at all. The best i can compare it to is a Apexi N1 with the silencer in. I heard that exhaust on my friend's 5th gen and they sounded nearly identical. I actually have a 1 minute wav file of my car with the brullen cruising on one of my favortie roads vtec-ing and everything. If you're interested i'll email it to you. Well that's all and happy painting and godbless!(Bob Ross)

cool... i used to have a brullen exhaust with dual tips also. (Actually its still sitting on my balcony) And yes it does sound very nice and deep tone, not raspy at all. I loved the sound of it.

But then i bought a Tanabe Hyper a few months ago because i wanted something quieter. I like my hyper a lot too...very quiet, looks and sounds very nice. i'm happy with it.
