Pics of my blue interior transformation!

Check out the pics... *before pics aren't mine, they are triumph's*

before

after

I put another coat on the carpeting to make it a darker black.. looks 10 times better now. I also plan on painting the mirror cluster thing black too but it was getting late last nite...

before

after

its black! woohoo!

As you can see, my seats are still blue and thats why I was hoping to find seat covers.... at the top of the pic u can see the other door tho, nice n black

Looks like it came out the factory black now! I used VHT spray paint/dye. BIG THANKS to Marshdogg for buying it locally and mailing it to me (not available in Alaska) .. I'm loving it. I have enough spray paint left to spray paint the front seats but I wanted to get seat covers to save the hassle....

As you can see I got some minor touching up to do, like I said it started getting dark and I couldnt tell what was still blue.. but all in all, worth every penny I spent! Cheaper than a full VTEC interior!

I highly recommend this to all you haters of the blue interior, its real easy to do, paint doesnt run, splotch or nothing, it literally absorbs into the vinyl and permanently dyes it!

oh and dont mind the rice fire extinguisher, I bought it for $10 in the PO classifieds and put it up for the hell of it.. One day I'll see a burning civic on fire cuz he tried to spool a hairdrier in his engine and I'll be able to save him with my handy dandy fire extinguisher.

THANKS AGAIN MARSHDOGG!!!!!

Awsome jape. It looks like it rolled off the lot like that. For your seats I think it would be easy to take the covers of and use fabric dye on them.

I believe so. Try unzipping the side part on the driver and passenger seats.

it looks better after i touched up the parts i missed, like in between the bottom and top rear seat cusions..... It got dark quick here in AK so all of a sudden everything looked black, but all in all, took less than an hour... longest part was taping stuff up so it didnt get painted on accident...

did you ever think about unbolting the seats and painting them outside of the car. I pull my passenger seat at least once a month to haul stuff. The space the missing seat leaves is more useful than what trunk space is left after the stereo install.
