I take it this isn't 'plug and play'

ya, same. from looking.. all it would take is a pencil, wiring, and a dremel tool to (or spot welder... whatever they use to cut and form sheet metal or aluminum.. whatever they are made of).. and just kinda... put the light in place and trim away and form it to fit the contour of the new light.... then smooth the edges and paint. and ya.. ive always wanted that headlight conversion =] its slick.

so it only needs to be dremeled on the corners? Everything else fits? What about wiring? I'm seriously thinking about this for when my car goes in for paint in a couple months.

How much for the lights you think?

I have a seen a phenoix yellow JDM ITR front on a Prelude and thing was good looking car.

Anyone who is gonna do this, I give you

It doesnt compare at all, but I think i might put ITR interior in my car. I would much rather do the headlight swap though, I'd just rather not get started.

I think there's a 4G guy in San Diego, in 935Draggers, who's done this conversion. In fact, I know he's down there. I think he even posts on this site. It looks TIGHT, and I'm not a fan of conversions. But if I was, I'd do the ITR headlight conversion.

What other ITR interior could you swap into a 4G Lude?? I'm curious. I've done the shift boot & knob, but that's about all that will really swap over to our rides... besides maybe the black suede Recaro SRDs... but I still haven't gotten a straight answer as to whether or not SRD's will even fit into a 4G. I know Sparcos will, but... Lemme know, b/c I'm all about the ITR interior.

... at www.jdmhondaparts.com they sell the JDM ITR headlights, black housing ones for $760. That isn't that bad actually, since S2000 headlamps cost $900, don't ask about the RSX-R....

how much you think a job like that would cost??

This is kinda off topic, but why the hell do they cost $760? I'd like to get JDM 1pc sometime, but can't bring myself to shell out $400 for a couple headlights, when the money could go a lot further on something else. Anyone know why?

This has to be my favorite convertion. It is not overdone but is still different. I doesn't even look like that much body work needs to be done.

hmm looks to be a little too complicated...I think the hood has to be cut!

Given the ease of installing JDM lude lights, which are cheaper as well...argh why bother.

Did anyone else notice they mispelled their own website on the windshield?

That 935 car is SICK, SICK, SICK!!! I love it.

The conversion definately involves cutting into the fenders, and lost of bondo, to make the bumper-hood joint work out.
