if i need a new front driver's side shock, i might as well get all 4 shocks brand new, and if i get all 4 brand new, i might as well get some springs and drop teh lude.
now... what is the drop on the H&R sports? 1.2" - 1.3"? someone post pics.
im on stock rims w/ 225/50 tires. i shouldn't rub from what i've read.
I got the Tokico HP shocks, the blue ones. They're holding up fine with my Neuspeed Race springs. They're pretty cheap. I got my set from inlinefour.com

Sorry, I can't seem to find any with my stck rims. You won't rub either. My wheels are +40 offset, 17x7 and I've never rubbed. Don't need camber kits either, which is nice. I have KYB AGX shocks, love em. Got them for mid 300s. Springs for about 150,
don't get monroe's, I had sensatrac's on my sentra, and tho they were comfy, they really didn't work well at all with any sort of drop. if you go cheap, KYB GR-2s are better for the money than monroe
ITs pretty low, but i think some of the sink is because my shocks are blown really bad.

I have the sports. i did have tokico blues but i recently got some kybs for 150 . the kybs are awsome because of the adjustability but the blues are nice non adjustables.
whoa... my cousin who works at a performance shop called me today
he asked me if i needed shocks and i told him yea, one of mine is probably blown... he said he could get me some for free. I asked him if he could get springs and for how much. He said he could get me a whole set for free too! installed and everything! So I'm gonna go in on monday and get everything installed!
He said they're DropZone and a ~1.75" drop... are they a cheap brand or something? meh... i'm getting the stuff for free cuz they need a Prelude to photograph with that stuff on.
Dropzone is one of those eBay generic brands. I wouldn't be too impressed with them, but I haven't tried them. And on the price $230-$240 sounds good on eBay. I paid $270 shipped a year ago from inlinefour.

Never heard of them, and with that much of a drop, you're going to need camber kits.

oh, they needed a 5th gen to photograph with their suspension setup so they could promote the company or something. My cousin originally told me they needed any prelude. I guess they changed their minds
Why don't you need camber kits? I needed them for mine (KYB AGX and Skunk2 Coilovers). What exactly is so different out your setup that you don't need them?

H&R sport springs don't lower that much. You can go to about 1.5" and not have to get camber kits because the tire wear will be relatively unaffected. Once you lower more than that though, it will kill your tires.

He's right about this...I'm living proof of it. Once I went from about 1.5" to 2", my tires are going fast.
