Pic Request: AEM SRI

Hey guys,

I am looking into buying an AEM Short Ram Intake for my 4th Gen. I was wondering if any of you would happen to have any pics of one installed? I have found pics of the CAI but not the SRI. The reason I am asking is because I will be building a cold air box around it and I need to see how the filter at the end of the pipe is placed with the AEM.

I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

not the best pic... but its the only one i have ATM.

this was the first start up after my H22 swap was finished, hence the smoking radiator.

That's an AEM? It looks like my crappy Ractive with the end of the tube that angles in such a weird way. I guess I won't be buying an AEM then.

Here's a pic of my Iceman intake. You can see by the battery where you can disconnect the two pieces and make it into a SRI. I started with it as a CAI but then switched to the SRI setup with cold air box. A cold air box is very easy to make as it is already protected by the battery. I just made a top for it and a backing and was done.

The Iceman SRI would be ideal for me to make the cold air box then. How do you like the SRI with cold air box as compared to the conventional cold air intake?

I'm pretty happy with it. I didn't do a dyno comparison or anything but from what I could feel, the CAI was a little better in the low to mid range rpm but the SRI just breathes a lot better at top, which is where our H23's really need it. Plus you get the better throttle response of the SRI.
