Performance

so heres my story. next month i have $5000 to spend, i was going to build my head tranny and get bolt ons and get ready to boost. but then i had another idea, would it be physically possible to fit an nsx c30a in my car? or another high performance engine? what other engine could deliver and fit in my car? has anyone else thought of this? whats my best direction? thanks

Okay just stop, seriously stop.

You obviously have no concept of swapping in a motor or what it takes to do it. Can it be done? Sure but it would cost just as much as a NSX. You can put a jet engine in the car if you want. Obviously you're new to modding and should stop and do some ACTUAL research.

My honest opinion is for you to save that money for maintenance. Buy some bolt ons and just enjoy the car.

If you have to buy a rebuilt NSX engine, again you can't afford it.

If you had the know-how, you would have already done it or tried. You're going from a front engine front wheel drive to a mid engine rear wheel drive. Just let that sink for a minute on the logistics.

Wow you put a h22 into a prelude? While that's most than what a good amount of people can do, I to myself have done the same and trust me, it's pretty easy as it's a remove / replace. The only actual modification you have to do is adding two wires for vtec. So while it's a good thing you can do that, don't expect any and all engine swaps to go like that.

There aren't that many people with huge engines in preludes because there isn't a lot of space and the gains don't outweigh the cost / time / labor when you could have a just as fast or even faster h22.

Like I said, you can put a jet turbine in there, but just to be unique not worth it.
