People with G-Tech what kind of number do you get?
My sister's bf came here tonight with a friend and he had a G-Tech so we went to give it a try in my car. So before we arrived at the "drag strip" my CEL came on. (for the O2 sensor, it's been coming on from time to time for a while). So we did the first run and it said I got 136HP, so I thought damn that's low (keep in mind that I have a H22A4), so I turned off the car to get rid of the CEL and we did another run, this time 128HP. Then we tried a quarter mile run, 16.12@89.6MPH (we were 3 in the car, one being around 200-210lbs, me 165-170lbs and the other maybe 140lbs...)
I think my number are pittyful... So what kind of numbers are you guys getting with a G-Tech?
BTW This little gadget is kinda cool for people without drag strip or dyno or anything like that
I see the problem of having three people in the car will affect the hp reading and times dramatically, therefore screw up the calculations.
I heard the gtech device is rather accurate, my frds bring theirs to the drag strip and got identical times from the slip and gtech.

Well for the HP numbers you set the weight of the car + the weight of the people so even if you're 3 in the car it shouldn't change the numbers much... though I know that for the 1/4 miles it does affect the time, we just did it for fun and to give me an idea.
fleshbox: the G-tech is a little device that you plug in your cig lighter and it tells you your car's HP and 1/4 miles time, you can find them on Ebay for 50$, I'm probably gonna get one soon, I thought they were like 200$ but for 50$ I won't wait long before I get one
So anybody else have tried their car with a G-Tech?

hahaha yeah I know that it's not the best way to get a good 1/4 mile time but I still think the HP numbers were low, so that's why I'd like someone to tell me what they got so I can compare
Forbidden, do you like your A4 or would you rather have an A1? Im swapping out my H23 longblock and I might buy Satan_SRV's A4 longblock. But I figured I'd get some input first.

There's not much difference between the 2 except that the H22A4 is open deck vs close deck for the H22A1, though if I had to do it all over I would've spent the extra 300$ to get a JDM H22A. If you only get the longblock, H22A4 or H22A1 won't make a big difference, IMO the biggest difference between those 2 is the tranny.
back in the day when i used one, i kept getting 13.9 and sure enough i went to the track shortly after that and my best run was a 13.9. i actually have one in my car right now i havent even used, i'll try it out today and let you know!
