passenger side firewall hole?

i need to rub stereo wires from the battery through the passenger side firewall. I took up the carpet and mat on the passenger side but can't seem to find one. Is there a hole from the engine bay into the passenger side in our 4th gens? if so where?

Yes.

If you pull up the fuse box you can see a rubber grommet behind it that runs into the cabin. It's what I use for all my entry needs. Just a little slice and it will run about the heater core thing. It can be a pain to fish into the cabin but you can get it to work with heavier gauge wires. I can grab a pic if you need it.

Straighten out a coathanger and then tape your wire tightly to one end. cut a slit in the gromett below the fusebox. Poke the end of the coathanger (with no wire) through the slit, and feed it through. Go inside the cabin and feel around for the coathanger (helps if you follow the fat snake of wires from the ECU bacckwards). Pull the coathanger and wire the rest of the way into the cabin. Done.

which fuse box are you talking about? the one by the dead pedal?

you slit it where the door jam is, and that wire from the door panel to the side of the fender is?

Sorry, I have never done this for you...

pics would be nice.

You have to remove the 10mm bolt holding the front of the fuse box on and then the two clips holding the rear

Under there you will see a rubber grommet that leads into the cabin.

nope. It's way up above that. If you do what Tim suggests with the hanger you should see it poke through right where your glove box is.

Just follow the fat ECU wiring snake back towards the firewall. If you ues the coathanger method I detailed above, it should be pretty easy to find the end poking out. I've run 0 gauge wire through that gromett. . .plenty of room.
