Passenger side door open sensor

I noticed yesterday that whenever I open the passenger side door, the dome light dont turn on... so I unscrewed that sensor thing to see whats up, the sensor that gets pushed down when teh door is closed.. Anyway, I unscrew it and .. there's NO WIRES or nothing connected to! WTF. But the place where it screws into is the chassis! How the F am i supposed to get into there to find out where the wires went?

i have the same problem, but my wires are connected to it. The dome light turns on only every once and awhile and i assume it is the metal connecters...would a new one probably fix that??

just a thought, but you might be able to get in there by removing your rear interior side panel...

I had the same problem with my dome light working off and on, so I took the switch apart and greased up the little slide inside of it. it seems to work ok since I did that.
