Parts for 5lug swap...

Hey guys,

I've managed to source out parts for a 5lug swap from a totalled 5th gen..well at least the parts i know i need. I *have* searched....and found some interesting threads about teh swap itself but no proper list of parts needed. I suppose its cuz there aren't too many people that have done them....or too many variables. =/

Hopefully once i get it done i should be able to put some questions to rest (if there are any). In addition to Prelude_2_NV's aweosome work on the topic.

So far:

5th gen (both sides)
----------
Front Axles ??
Front Knuckle
Front Hub/Bearing
Front Rotor
Front Caliper (for S/Si)
Rear Knuckle
Rear Hub/Bearing
Rear Spindles ??
Rear Rotor

The one's with the question marks are the one's im not sure about? Do i need the 5th gen axles or will the 4th gens work fine? about the spindles, i read their too short? ....

What about control arms? Do I need them? Also anythign else i may need or have forgotten?

Thanks!

Simple swap as detailed by someone else

-5th gen BASE front knuckles/bearings/hubs/rotors/ (calipers not needed if you have a VTEC already)
- 5x114.3 rims
- 5ht gen rear spindles/hubs/rotors/ (calipers not needed)

IMPORTANT NEW INFORMATION

Special Thanks to go pre from PO.com for bringing this up!

I don't know if this is an issue with all 5th gen hubs, but I tried 2 different ones from a 98 and had the problem with both.
To fix the situation, I used a washer under the axle nut. That gives the nut more room so it can pull the axle in all the way.

So to make sure you don't just ruin your wheel bearings you need either
1. Enough washers so that the axle tightens
2. 5th gen axles.
