Painting question - Honda Prelude Forum

I didn't really know what forum to put this in. Its allittle off topic but still car related. I was looking into painting my car (or painting a car,lol). I was wondering for all yall painters out there, what is the best size of air compressor to use (or what is the smallest I could buy and still do a good job). Sorry for the wrong forum but I do have a 4th gen. Thanks

What CFM does your gun need to maintain 10psi at the tip (if HVLP)? Well you are going to want that and then some so your compressor isn't running constantly. More gallons means you can spray at longer intervals without the compressor having to run.
